NABT Annual Conference 2024

On April 19, 2024, the American Bankruptcy Institute’s Subchapter V Task Force released its Final Report.  The Final Report details the results of the Task Force’s year-long study of subchapter V, explaining related case law, witness testimony, and empirical data considered throughout the process. This panel will provide a high level overview of the Final Report, discussing several of the Task Force’s key recommendations, including those addressing debtor eligibility, the role of the subchapter V trustee, and the subchapter V plan confirmation process. The panel includes two members of the Task Force, who will offer insights and entertain questions on the Final Report.
